Hello all, you might remember me from places such as your long forgotten watch list, or perhaps a random series of links or even a search on out very own deviantart. I've managed to neglect my journal, again, so, well, ...hello, i guess. Seeing as there's some blatantly incorrect information in my last journal, i guess i'll have to go on and write a new one. In bullet form again, no less. leeeet's go:

First things first, November was a truly horrible month. Chest pain, anxiety, full stop to all art&school work, and i'm probably still not back. Its just been a sort of stasis since. A stasis I am insanely bored with and lonely in.

3 of my 4 favorite bands broke up between my last journal and January (that being Thursday, my all time love, Alexisonfire, and A Static Lullaby.) The 4th band, Dance Gavin Dance, had their singer kicked out. Again. /sigh

Saw Thursday's last US show at the TLA with Aficionado, Make Do and Mend, Screaming Females, and mewithoutyou. It was the first show I got to the front, it was beautiful, and I miss it hard.

Was going to see Cake&Incubus&Flogging Molly, but my concert partner for that one couldn't get the cash, so that didn't happen.

Doing Bamboozle this saturday! Can't wait!

Just before Bamboozle unfortunately is my senior prom =~= Dreading it. Not a fan of my dress, I have to awkwardly stand around with someone only because my mom demanded I have a male date, two of my better friends aren't going, anymore i don't so much like the group of "friends" that is going ...

I've developed a hardcore obsession with American Horror Story. Its probably some of the best tv for me, honestly. Gritty and twisted with just a bloody splat of drama. Plus, some of the strongest female characters on tv or probably even in most things "horror," a super fascinating psycho boy, and plenty of in depth material to have fascinating conversations about. I would actually enjoy writing a paper about some of the arguments we've had over implications in the show.

I've been trying to find some bands that are still together that I can stalk for the excitement of tours/new releases/etc. So far I've found A lot Like Birds & The Bunny The Bear <3 (one more and the world doesn't end in 2012, guys, help me out!)

Speaking of the world ending, I'm graduating in a couple weeks. I actually can't wait for that just because that means the end of stasis. Summer be damned, i probably won't see much of anyone in it, I just can't wait to get out of this high school.

Going to see The Bunny The Bear in June on the Under the Gun tour with Modern Day Escape, Dr. Acula, From Atlantis, and maybe somebody else i don't remember? (Idk, but its super great to love relatively unknown bands; the tickets are so cheap~)

My brain has been overwhelmed by TBTB's aesthetic, so expect to see a lot of work based on them soon

i also bought their albums, some merch packs, and am currently stalking them across several websites. Sexytime, amirite?

Recently, my art's been a lot of illustration in pen&ink. Been working on cohesive concepts, compositions, and getting a nice fore/middle/background spread going.  

Some people and I have been talking about starting up a funny, music related blog; if that happens, I'll link you guys to it

I'm lining up some projects for my to do in the summer, like attempt to make some clothes for myself, some action figures of my characters, and things like that. hopefully cool results will ensue

and uh, yeah, words! Getting soem award and stuff, and then freedom, one day, eventually.
